This June, a student team of three Aerospace engineers from SRM University, AVAS, will fly to the Airbus’ headquarters in France to  present their innovative idea for a greener aviation industry, as a part of the Airbus’ ‘Fly Your Ideas’ challenge.
AVAS is one of the teams from five countries (Australia. Brazil, Italy, Malaysia and India) selected amongst 618 teams who had competed from around the world. The team is composed of Balakrishnan Solaraju, Michael Thomas and Anita Mohil.
The winners, of the event, organised by the aircraft manufacturer, will be awarded 30,000 Euros at an exclusive ceremony held at UNESCO headquarters.
