he counselling for admissions to various courses of SRM
University for this academic year commenced on June 2 at Kattankulathur campus
and Modinagar in Uttar Pradesh.
SRM Group of Institutions Chairman Ravi Pachamoothoo handed
over the Founder’s Scholarship and University Merit Scholarship to a student on
the occasion in the presence of SRM University Vice-Chancellor M Ponnavaikko,
Registrar N Sethuraman and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Medical) P Thangaraju.
According to a press release, scholarships worth 12 crores
were awarded last year and it has gone up to `15 crores this year.
M Narendra from Andhra Pradesh emerged top ranker in the SRM
Entrance Exams. The second rank was secured by Sudha Nandhini of Tamil Nadu and
G Raghunandan of Andhra Pradesh bagged the third rank.
