You need to be willing to work most weekends (and have 1 day off during the week and 1 weekend off in a month) and a variety of different shift patterns including very early mornings and late nights.
You will be required to learn a lot and apply what you have learnt, and to always lead by example. Its a challenging and diverse role so being self-motivated and open to change really helps.

Our intensive, in-store, 6-8 months Management Development Programme is aimed at enthusiastic, logical thinkers who see themselves managing multi-crore business with an average of 40 to 80 employees.
Trainee Managers start by undertaking an intensive training period (6-8 Months) to learn all the basics, including working in the kitchen, front counter, dining area and drive-thru, before managing small teams and finally taking responsibility for managing the entire shift.
After successfully completing the training period, Trainee Managers are promoted to 2nd Assistant Managers and become part of the core restaurant management team. Opportunities for promotion include progressing to Restaurant Manager opportunities and then arise to progress to area management roles or movement in support departments like Human Resources, Real Estate, Marketing etc.
