SRM Public school proudly marked its
1st Annual day in SRM Institute of Science and Technology at T.P.
Ganesan Auditorium, Kattankulathur on 17-Fbruary-2018, Saturday. The function
commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Mrs.Lakshmi Prabha, Principal, Prasan
Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary school, Chengalpet. The annual report was
presented by Principal Mrs.Vasumathy Srinivasan highlighting the past year
achievements of the school. Mrs.Manimangai Sathyanarayanan presided over the
function. Kinder Garden Students presented a variety of program of dance and
music. The highlight of the day was the musical Jungle book by children.
The evening session was presented by
the students of class 1 to 7. Dr.S.Murugan IPS, Director/IGP Directorate of
vigilance and anti – corruption was the chief guest. Dr.P.Sathyanarayanan,
President,SRM trust presided over the function.
The programme had a grand
opening with an Invocation dance. This was followed by the musical “Tale of
wishes”. The story line swirls around the major characters of four Fairy tales.
It is an imaginary depiction of what it would be if the four characters meet on
a common platform. The function culminated with much awaited prize distribution
ceremony wherein the chief guest bestowed the Rolling shield to the houses for
Cultural and Sports. Students were awarded for the
outstanding performance.
