 ICONN, a biennial International Conference organised by Department of 
Physics and Nanotechnology, SRM University, is attracting researchers 
across the world working in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
 Incepted in 2010, the conference has become an important event in the 
calendar for scientists, academicians, researchers and students to 
showcase their latest and significant contributions in the field of 
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. ICONN 2013 has been successfully 
conducted in association with Shizuoka University, Japan, GNS-New 
Zealand and ANNA-Japan and was sponsored by DST-SERB and DRDO, 
Government of India. ICONN 2015 is expected to be a common platform for 
the path breaking research ideas to motivate the young researchers in 
carrying out the state-of-the-art research work leading to an interface 
between science, industry and the societal needs. Like ICONN 2013, SRM 
University is teamed with Shizuoka University, Japan and GNS, New 
Zealand to organize this edition of ICONN.

<b>Objectives of the Conference</b><br />
• To amalgamate the International Scientific Community working in the
 field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and to discuss intriguing 
advances in the field.<br />
• To promote effective collaborations by exposing researchers to alternative and complementary approaches from other fields.<br />
