The SRM University and Hannam University, South Korea recently entered into a memorandum of understanding for exchange of students, scholars and faculties.

“The five-year MoU, which is extendable on mutual consent, envisages the two universities to undertake joint research activities, participate in conferences and exchange academic information,” Hyungtae Kim, president, Hannam University, told reporters.

The MoU was signed by Mr .Kim and N. Sethuraman, Registrar of SRM University.

Under the student exchange programme, two engineering students will be chosen from the SRM University to do one semester at the Hannam University next year. The credits will be transferred to the SRM University. One student from the Hannam University will study the English and Journalism and Mass communication course for a year at the SRM University. Hannam University will also offer SRM students full scholarship
