SRM Entrance Examination (SRMEE 2013) for admission to
Engineering & Technology and other streams will be held on April 20 and 21.
The admission notification was issued in November last for admission to multiple disciplines.
Over 2.20 lakh candidates registered from across the country.
Among those applied, 1,52,518 candidates are to appear in the entrance exam conducted in five sessions in 203 centres in 102 cities across the country.
State-wise – 36.5% from Andhra Pradesh, 14.8% from Tamil Nadu, 9.4% from Uttar Pradesh, 5.2% each from New Delhi and Rajasthan, 4.1% from West Bengal and remaining from about 35 States & UT— will enter into the entrance.
Results of the entrance examination will be published on April 30 in the University’s website www.srmuniv.ac.in.
Counselling will be held for six days from 1st June in Chennai and New Delhi to fill about 7000 seats for the following campuses: Chennai (Ramapuram/Vadapalani), Chennai Kattankulathur, NCR Campus – New Delhi & Trichy.
