The third edition of the National level cultural festival Milan 2010 is organised by the SRM University from Jan., 27 to 29 , 2010 at the University campus in Dr.T.P.G Auditorium, Kattankulathur.
‘MILAN’ is a spectacular annual event where young talents from colleges across all regions of India converge.
SRM University is all set and ; fully geared up to paint Milan’10, the cultural extravaganza with undefined colors. Spectacular events like Dance - Thirak, vocals - Dhwani, Fine arts, Creative arts, Misceo and Vizz Comm have been designed for the competition.
T R Pachamuthu, Chancellor of the Univeristy in his presdiential address said enjoy the three days of this Milan 2010 and urged the students to plunge into politics to serve the country.
Actor Captain Vijayakanth Founder President of DMDK in his inaugural address said ''From an ordinary teacher to building a deemed varsity and becoming its Chancellor, Mr Pachamuthu, by sheer hardwork has risen to this level. I salute him and welcome his decision to form a new political party,'' he added.
He repeated stressed that India's future is in the hands of the youth of today and one should have education, employment and entertainment.
At the inaugural Nigerian students of the University performed a spetacular folk dance which left every one spell bound.
