SRM Click Hat Trick All India Inter University Chess Champions

Defending champion SRM University Winners in the All India inter university Chess Championship 2012 -2013 for the third time consecutively i.e. Hat trick Victory for SRM recently held at University of Calicut, from 3rd January 2013-5th January 2013. Totally 14 universities from all over India participated in that mega Championship and our university click the title for the third time. SRM University Got 18 out of 20 points in the total 9 rounds, match point 10 out of 10. December 2012 to 1st January,2013. Our varsity stood out from the rest beating Kannur University (4/0), Pondycherry University (3/1), M.G. University (4/0) and VT University(4/0) and several others. In a total of 9 rounds, S.R.M.University scored 31 ½ out of 36 points (match point 18 out of 18) bagging the title of Defending Champions yet again. The top four winning colleges – SRM University,Osmania University, JNTU, University of Madras,get to participate in the All India Inter University Chess Championship, at University of Calicut
