SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, recently hosted the Chairman’s Trophy – 3rd International FIDE Rapid Rating Open Chess Tournament, bringing together strategic minds, young talents, and seasoned players under one roof for an intense day of competition.

The Chairman’s Trophy – SRM 3rd International FIDE Rapid Rating Open Chess Tournament was conducted on 13th July 2025 at the Padma Bhushan Major Dhyan Chand Indoor Stadium, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus, Chengalpattu District.

SRMIST has commissioned a new STP with a capacity of 600 KLD near the Dental College to manage and treat sewage effectively while supporting water conservation and reuse on campus. This plant adopts CACCO Technology for enhanced treatment efficiency, reduced sludge generation, and improved treated water quality for campus reuse.
