SRM University and Sathyabama University won the men's and women's championships in the SRM Founder’s birthday basketball tournament which concluded on Friday. Seventeen teams took part in the competition in knock-out-cum-league basis.
Dr. T. R. Pachamuthu, Founder and Chancellor, SRM, presided and gave away the prizes.
The final rankings:
Men: 1.SRM University, 2. Jain University, Bangalore, 3. Hindustan University 4. Easwari Engineering College.
Women: 1.Sathyabama University, SRM University, Hindustan University and Jain University.
