The MCA Department of SRM University, Ramapuram, conducted the second national level Symposium, “Tecblaze'13” on February 15, 2013. The inaugural function started with an Invocation song “Tamizh Thai Vazhthu”. All the dignitaries lighted the Kuthuvilakku. Mr.J.Dhillipan, the Head of the Department then delivered the welcome address and gave an overview about the symposium.
The Director presented a bouquet to the Chief Guest Mr.N.Shivakumar,Technical Lead, HCL Technologies, Chennai. The Dean of SRM University, Ramapuram presented a memento to the chief guest and he then released the proceedings.
The Director, SRM University, Ramapuram Campus presided over and he explained the importance of students’ participation in the symposium. Dr. K. Abdul Ghani, Dean, Ramapuram Campus felicitated the occasion and he stated the symposium is a good platform for the young IT aspirants to show case their talents in different fields of technology.
This was followed by felicitation address by the Dean of SRM University, Ramapuram and he stated that this is a platform for the young IT aspirants to show case their talents in different fields of technology. The Vice Principal also gave a felicitation address and stated that the TecBlaze 2013 is an opportunity for many students to work as a team and is a good exposure to the participants. The souvenir was also released during the inauguration ceremony.
Mr. Rajkumar, first year student, MCA department introduced the Chief Guest to the audience, Mr.N.Shivakumar, Technical Lead, HCL Technologies, Chennai. Motivation speech by the Chief Guest on leadership, attitude and self confidence, turned out to be a source of inspiration for all the participants.
Abhinav Pathak, MCA department delivered the vote of thanks. TecBlaze'13 witnessed the participation of about 200 students from 40 different colleges and there were exciting events such as Paper Presentation, Quiz, Web Designing, Debugging and Dumb C.
